Guy Fawkes Day

Guy Fawkes was a member of a group of English Roman Catholic revolutionaries who planned to carry out the Gunpowder Plot. In 1570, he was born in York. His family was Protestant, but he met Society of Jesus and became a Catholic. In 1593, he went to Spain and joined the Spanish army. In 1604, Robert Catesby, Thomas Winter and John Wright planned to kill James the First. Guy Fawkes was recruited by them, so he joined. In 1605, the gunpowder that was set under ground was discovered, and he and his partner were arrested. In 1606, he was taken to court for trial and he was tortured and killed.

Now the people celebrate Guy Fawkes Day on November 5th. During the celebration, children said "A penny for the Guy." and use the money to make dolls called guys. In the evening, there are fireworks displays throughout the country. The guys are burned on great bonfires at these displays.

It is trivia here. His name was the origin of guy.

♡Trick or Treat!♡

Halloween is traditional event. It was held on October 31st. The night of 31st October when it was believed in the pas that dead people appeared from their graves,and which I now celebrated in the US, Canada and Britain by chidren who dress as GHOSTS, WITCHES, etc. “Trick or treat” said by children who visit people’s houses at Halloween and threaten to play tricks on people who do not give them candy.
Black and Oreange is traditional Halloween’s color.



♡Elephant Festival♡
India is the original homeland of the Asiatic Elephant. It’s association with the gods and king goes back to the dawn of history. The elephant has also been a symbol of strength and wealth. A festival where elephants are the centre of attraction. The festival begins with a procession of elephants, camels and horses, followed by lively folk dancers. Elephant races, elephant-polo matches and a most interesting tug of war between elephants and men, are all part of this spectacular event.

In 2003, splash hit Finding Nemo. The DVD is already the No.1 selling, and the move was honored with an Oscar for Best Animating film and received Oscar nominations for Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Scar and Best Sound Editing.

Story
Nemo, an active and curious clownfish, was very happy to go to school. But he stepped outside the coral reef to show his classmate to courage, and he was caught by human. Marlin and Dory went to the endless journey to finding Nemo. They met gigantic shark and were helped by a group of turtle. The thing not imagined occurs, but they continued their journey. ♡Harry Potter♡

The original of Harry Potter is novel which was written by J. K. Rowling. It is fiction and fantasy story. Now book was published all volume, but movie was showed until 5 volume. In 2009, Harry Potter and the Half Blood-Prince will release, people are looking forward to seeing it! Of course me too! If you see Harry Potter, you certainly become a fan.

☀My summer vacation☀

　 My summer vacation was so exited.

　Everyday I went to a driving school. August 5th I entered the driving school. Then I was so nervous, but my teacher made me relax. My teacher’s name is Kubota. He is a principal’s driver. In summer, there are so many students, so the school needs teachers, so he works as a teacher. The school teachers are so kind and funny. Students are like them. I could make a friends, I am keeping in touch with her. September 10th I graduated driving school, and September 16th I could take a driver license. I was so happy, and I wanted to drive. So I went to meet my sister at the station with my mother. I am not a good driver, so my mother screamed, and my sister did not want to ride the car. I want to be a good driver.

　My oldest sister is getting married on October 11th. Then I and my older sister will give a performance on the piano and flute. We will play “Mirai-yosouzu”. My oldest sister likes it. We do not have a time, so we must practice. I watched her wedding dress, and my mother took a lot of photos.

　When I went shopping with my older sister, we watched a performer “Komatu”. He can play piano and trumpet very well. He played “Kimiwonosete”. We were impression.

I will take a Driver license on this summer vaction. My friend said "Drive is so exciting!" So I am looking forward to driving.

♡JIBURI♡

I watched "Totoro" on last Friday. Characters are very lovely and story is emotional. Miyazaki Hayao's animation is a satire on society and including a dream and laugh. It is popular among all generation. I'll watch "Ponyo" on next Tuesday with my friend. The movie is the newest Miyazaki's movie. I'm looking forward to watch it.

Overweight!
